2017 NOR
We have published a generic NOR for all the events, however local requirements at each club may mean that the Race Officer will vary these according to his club rules and the conditions at the time or the event, if you are unsure as to what might be varied or have specific requirements please contact the Race Officer prior to attending the event.
Inter Club Competition
In consultation with the three host clubs we have introduced an inter-club competition for 2017, with the intention of broadening the appeal of radio racing in wider competition to more club skippers.
We have tried to make a formula which keeps to the original idea for introducing the Wee Nip as a one design boat for those who wish to experiance radio sailing with a yacht they can build themselves. Within each competition all the scores of each club members will count to your clubs final total and so why not come along, try racing your Nip and support your club at the same time.
In addition we have at very little expense procured a trophy to be awarded at each meeting to a skipper from the club with the highest placing.
"Murdoch" for that is his name may not be much to look at but he does have a Heart of Gold!

Peter Jackson  wins 2016 Wee Nip Medal Competition
After ten events this years winner was closely fought between three competitors, and it was all down to the last event at Emberton Park Sailing Club. Geoff Raygada, Paul Risdale and Peter Jackson fought it out in a close battle in rather light winds  to establish the 2016 overall medal champion.

Ever wondered what it would be like to be onboard your Wee Nip, Alan Smedley has provided us with this video taken from the stern of his Glengoyne at Novembers Wee Nip Event, Two Islands RYC.

Don't worry the early silent movie style soon gives way to a more regular format.

Thanks Alan
