We have tried try to include all of the scores by skippers to encourage participation, in my opinion the more enjoyable events this year have been those where there has been a greater participation.
The scoring method is as follows:-
The scores for the club competiton for each individual in the overall Wee Nip Medal Competition will be used for the Inter-Club competition as well.
The highest two placed skippers from each club have their full scores added to the club total,
The remaining club skippers scores are added as an average of those skippers, with the addition of 10 attendance points each.
A Race Officers score of 70 points will be added to the total in either the first two highest placed group or the average of the remainder, however any individual is only eligible for this once which we hope will encourage more skippers to act as Race Officers.
The "Murdoch" decanter will be awarded to the highest placed competitor in the remainder group from the highest scoring club at each event.
Competitors who belong to more than one club need to declare for which they club they are racing at the first race meeting they attend, they will remain scoring for this club throughout the series it can not be changed. If no club is declared then the club their MYA membership is retained to will be used.
