2015 - wee Nip Medal Competition - Round 9
17th OCTOBER 2015

A tricky wind from the Southwest or was it the Northeast who can tell, well Paul "the Salmon" Risdale obviously can, keeping the rest of us at bay to take a first win of this season.
I thought I had got all the leaves out but of course there was a patch pinned against the bank which with the changing wind direction became a further obstacle on the course, sorry about that folks.

Peter "build it like the plan"Jackson finally put it all together and did a spirited job of coming home second, to be frank today was more about the Martin dale Cup than it was the Wee Nip Competition with Peter J and Paul R needing to score well over Mike "six metre" Ewart to stand a chance of victory in this competition which runs throughout all the classes we sail.
Keith "the lumbago" Coxon was having an off day the South of France and a bad back obviously not being condusive to sailing toy boats!

Keiths poor form allowed Peter "deep ship" Shepherd, Tom "the man of" Steel and the aforementioned "six metre" Mike to get one over on him although it remains to be seen if the dropped places will cost Mike dear in the Martin Dale cup.
Geoff "bogglebottom (don't ask)" Raygada and Norman "I let my wife drive" Hardy had their own close battle Geoff winning out on count back.
The guys at the back did a sterling job supporting the fleet, thanks guys and Paul looks pleased as punch to have taken this competitions medal, I am sure a suitable prize went along with it.
