2015 - wee Nip Medal Competition - Round 10

14th November 2015

Picture
Hopefully it was just the miserable weather conditions that kept the bulk of the fleet away, it was definately a day for being in front of the fire with the scotch bottle readily to hand otherwise I think it would have just been wasted!

This event was more about the Martin Dale Cup, the Wee Nip medal Challange having been decide long ago, (john your prize awaits you).  The three main protagonists for the Martin dale were all in attendance, I of course put pay to any chance Paul Risdale had by anouncing what they had to do to win ahead of starting sailing.

Early on it looked as if no one wanted to win it as Peter Jackson had a rare case of "the mechanicals", however Paul very sportingly offered his Pinwinnie with which PJ went on to win the event, with just two points seperating him from Peter Shepherd.

The second place of Peter Shepherd was enough to deny third placed Mike Ewart the title Martin Dale title, Alan Smedley got his nose in front of Paul's Pig, Tom Steel  was just behind that and Derek lane would have been further up but at race ten he sensibly went to find comfort and solance in the Rugby club bar!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this years competiton, we hope to see you all again next year.
